Migliore & Infranco P.C.

Rudolph Migliore graduated from Dowling College with a BBA in 1970. He received his Juris Doctorate from the Delaware Law School in 1975. He was admitted to the practice in November 1977.

The firm carries a full collection of New York Statutes in its library, plus full online legal research services provided by Lexis-Nexis. All attorneys are available for consultation. The firm does not bill for an initial consultation.

The office has previously been involved in education and free speech issues. It was primary council in Lambs Chapel vs. Center Moriches School District, a case that went to the U.S. Supreme Court, where a 9-0 decision was granted in favor of the clients.

The Long Island 9/11 Memorial, Inc. organization is in the process of establishing a memorial on Long Island, to honor the memory of the 456 Long Islanders that perished in the attacks that took place on September 11, 2001. The Board of Directors is comprised of many elected officials and prominent business leaders. The memorial will consist of a time line walkway, lading to the Cutler Hall building that will serve as a 9/11 museum and a resource center for the families of 9/11 victims.

Some cases such as a personal injury (accident, asbestosis, etc.) are often handled on a contingency fee basis; thereby the client would have no out of pocket expenses. In such cases, disbursements are many times recovered at the end of the case, out of the proceedings of a settlement or court verdict.

Matters such as other civil litigation or matrimonial can vary in the amount of time involved and are many times billed on an hourly basis of $250.00 per hour out of court, and $300.00 in court.

Criminal cases are handled personally, and are billed on a flat-fee basis. I provide a free consultation and clients are advised of the fee in advance. Fees can vary depending on a number of factors (facts and circumstances, seriousness of the charge, prior legal history, etc.). Real Estate cases may be handled on a flat-fee basis as well by an associate attorney.
